About

Tech Story NYC is an independent camera, lens, and filmmaking gear publication based in New York.

I created this site to share practical information that goes beyond a product specification sheet. My articles focus on how cameras and production gear perform in real situations: walking through the city, filming in low light, working in small spaces, traveling with a lightweight kit, and shooting through changing weather.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Camera and lens reviews based on real-world use
  • Photo and video samples with clear shooting conditions
  • Practical setup and filming guides
  • Honest comparisons that explain who each product is for
  • Long-term observations, including limitations and problems

When I have personally used a product, I explain how long I used it and under what conditions. When an article is based on research rather than hands-on testing, I label it clearly. Specifications are checked against manufacturer documentation whenever possible.

Tech Story NYC began as a mobile technology blog. Older phone articles remain available as archived guides, while the site’s current editorial focus is cameras, lenses, and filmmaking equipment.

Some articles may contain affiliate links. These links may earn the site a commission at no additional cost to the reader, but they do not determine the conclusions of a review.

Thank you for reading Tech Story NYC.
